It was back in 1981 that Pete & Jenny first came to Rwanda. They had both had careers in residential social work and then Pete had gone on to a career in Motor Mechanics. It was this practical skill that led them to Rwanda to teach in a Skills Training School in Kigali.
After a few years back in the UK they felt the desire to return to Rwanda and work alongside the Inkuru Nziza (Good News) Church. At that time AIDS was a major problem and so the church setup the project to support the families who had been affected. In this way the project has developed over many years with experience gained in caring in the best way possible for these orphans.
